We buy these brand new Professional Microphones & clips at wholesale pricing and we are passing the savings on to you. They were designed to sound just like the standard in the industry, the Shure SM58. In the history of us selling these mics we have never had even one single customer that did not like them. If you like the SM58 you will LOVE our GLS Audio ES-58. We guarantee it 100%! If for any reason you don't think this mic sounds as good or better than the Shure SM58 we will give you a full refund. These microphones even have an ON/OFF switch (which the Shure SM58 does not). And for those of you that have had microphone feedback, you know how awesome it is to have an ON/OFF Switch. Microphones of this quality typically sell for $89.95 to $139.95 each. All our microphones include mic clips.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Best Microphone Value Out There (1.7.2016)
    Reviewer: Larry Dial
I just purchased 3 new GLS Audio ES-58-S's. What a difference. A musician friend of mine had these mics and I thought they sounded great so decided to try them when it was time to replace the 3 tired mics I've used for the last 10 years . I've played 3 shows with them and couldn't be happier with their quality and performance. You just can't find a better mic anywhere near the price of these mics.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 The GLS ES-58-S mic - Every bit as good as the Big Name Brand! (12.13.2015)

I decided to try out the GLS ES-58-S in a direct comparison with the Shure SM58. I purchased the ES-58 and hooked it up to my PA system. I began my comparison by setting the EQ to neutral. I used my ears to listen for what the differences might be between the GLS and the Shure mic. I could hear no difference. From there, I compared the mics at different volume settings, and with a variety of EQ settings, and got the same result. Regarding the construction of the GLS mics, they are every bit as solid as the Shure mics. Based on my experience, the GLS ES-58-S is an excellent value. My conclusion about this GLS mic is simply...WOW!!! PS: I did the same type of comparison with the GLS ES-57 and the Shure SM57 and got the same results. I recommend both GLS mics.

I've used these mics in a broadcast environment. I could not discern any difference between this mic and it's Shure progenitor. It's a spectacular value.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Equal to a Shure Beta 58, way cheaper (9.7.2015)

Many folks don't realize that vocal mics wear out. Yelling and spitting into causes loss of high end and presence over time. A worn out mic tends to feed back more easily as well. If you have been using the same 58 for years and don't want to pay $100 or more for a replacement, try one of these. Turn off the eq on your PA first - you may not need it. Buy two and keep one as a spare! This 58 is as good as the venerable brand, and possibly better. The GLS 57 is definitely better than the original, particularly the way it is constructed. As an audio pro and performer I have been very happy with everything I have purchased from Orange County Speaker.

I continue to be amazed at the quality and value of the GLS mikes. I own a couple of 57s and just bought these 58s for rehearsals with my string band. Every bit as good as the SMs at a third the price. I know they are Chinese and not American made. So is pretty much everything else these days. This may be the slippery slope to hell but I think that American manufacturing has pretty much had its day. So, buy these mikes without fear and without guilt. They are superb values - no more, no less.

If your looking for a mic that is comparable to the sm58 or sm57 then get these. It's a no brainer. You can't beat the price and the quality is outstanding.

I am MORE than pleased with the GLS ES-58 microphone. I used it myself at karaoke and it was clearly superior to the mics there (and the KJ makes his living from what comes out of those mics!), but the real test was when my good friend Wayne Wilson used it at a live performance. Wayne is a great singer and very particular about his mics, so when we tried it against his Shure his eyes got wide! Just swapping mics, he had to drop the sound level by 20% when he used the ES-58 to stay at the same volume. ďThatís a hot mic!Ē And the sound? He though the midrange was slightly boosted around 3K Hz, and he said he liked that himself. The verdict? ďThatís a great little microphone and the price is right- you should make that your personal mic and Iíll get my own! (*laugh*) I think the NIB (neodymium) magnets are part of the secret of these new mics, and you really canít beat the deal Orange County Speaker is offeringÖ
I also did a few bench tests with an audio amp and an oscilloscope. The mic output is very strong- I suspect the NIB magnets have made this possible, and similar to the new-age magnetic pickups on my Taylor electric guitar, they are a quantum leap past the old technology. Iím told that the Shure mics do not have this, and the karaoke DJ last night said as much: the Shures are old technology; this mic is the NEW technology. And as you can appreciate, he makes his living out of what the mics deliver.

I bought this model to replace some old Sure mics and the band last weekend were amazed how good they sounded.

I have always used Shure SM58's exclusively and have been playing out nearly every weekend for 12 years now. I use them because they take a licking and keep on ticking and they sound great! That being said, I just used the ES58 mic I picked up during their Black Friday sale at this past weekends gig and it sounded great! It is actually a little bit louder and brighter then the old SM58's I use. Pretty much looks and feels like an SM58 so hopefully it will last like they do too! Cool thing is I wasn't even looking to buy a mic but when I bought 10 mic clips I got a pop up window offering the ES58 crazy cheap as a one time only deal so I went for it. I am glad I did!!

I ordered 7 ES-57 and 3 ES-58S last week. I used them right away on a gig the same day I got them. Amazing mics...!!! I got a second gig next day and honestly I'm very impressed with the sound you can get with this bad boys! The band forgot the drums mic kit and I used the ES-57 on the whole kit including the kick and I was surprised how good it sounded. ES-58S for vocals... they sound like condenser mics..Very happy customer..! By the way... I also got the 25" feet 10 mic cable pack. Great products at a wonderful price..!
