Fine for live drums (10.17.2009) Reviewer: Tom Payton (Lafayette, IN) I bought a 3-pack of these for live drums. They worked out great. I also recorded acoustic guitar with one of these, and with a Shure SM57. They do not sound exactly alike, but with a little EQ are very similar. The GLS is fuller sounding, and the shure has a little clearer top end. The combo of these two together sounded very sweet.   ES57 is really a great mike. (8.28.2009) Reviewer: Jim Clift (Hot Springs, AR) I'm shocked. Sounds better than my Shure counterpart mike. I'm using these for my drums and for my guitar player. Great find.
