My 20+ year old Alesis Monitor One's finally had an issue. One of the tweeters died. Orange County pointed me to these as 6 ohm replacements, so I bought a pair to keep them in phase. They sound like new.
Still a big fan of the unpowered Alesis monitors for the money.
And the folks at Orange County steered me the right way. Great prices, service and fast shipping. |

I think these new tweeters even sound better than the original.

Very nice tweeters, used to replace a set of smoked Cerwin Vegas in a set of AT-12s. Perfect fit, and good sound. I've used Orange County before, and they've fulfilled my expectations in every way. At least as far as speaker repair is concerned. I can't go into the thing about the 12 albino midgets and the trapeze..........

This pair of Tannoy PBM8's have been through the mill - dropped off a high shelf, punctured by a cat, pushed in by movers, etc. etc... they have no front grill any longer, but I've replaced previously one woofer, and now both of the tweeters. Orange County Speaker got the replacement parts to me quickly and in perfect shape. Replacing the component was as simple as unscrewing it from the cabinet, pulling out the clips for the old speaker and clipping in the new ones, and rescrewing it in the same holes in the cabinet. The sound is identical to the original sound of the speaker, naturally, and I couldn't be happier!

I was looking for a replacement tweeter for my Cerwin AT-15s that are no longer available. I found this one and it fit almost perfect in the Cerwin housing. The only problem is that I think it may sound a bit better than original so now I have to replace the other. |
