I lead a band with multiple keyboards, guitars, bass, mic'd drums, etc. I recently upgraded my sound console to a unit with more returns. I purchased these connectors, along with companion panel mount equivalents, to reverse several channels on my audio snake. This saved me a significant amount of money over purchasing a new snake. GLS connectors are reasonably priced but high quality, with subtle improvements over competitive products that make cable building a breeze. Orange County Speaker is the place to go for any audio cabling needs. Their customer service, product selection and delivery can't be beat.

I purchased the 20 pack (10 male, 10 female) because it was such a good deal, and I had several cables that needed repair. I didn't realize how nice the connectors were going to be until I started replacing my bad ones.
The GLS connectors are fantastic! There are no screws to hassle, and the strain relief is automatic. You just slide the back shell and plastic strain relief onto the cable, solder the wires in the pin or socket fitting, and slide that fitting into the metal outer shell. The plastic strain relief fitting then slides over the solder joints (which is nice because it also keeps the wires from possibly shorting against the metal shell). Then you just screw on the back shell, which has a nice tight seal on the mic cable itself, and as it tightens up it clamps down on the inner plastic piece, which in turn clamps on to the mic cable. That setup provides a very nice tight strain relief.
Some of the connectors I was removing were quite a pain to deal with, some having three set screws, plus a metal clamping strain relief you manually compress over the cable that doesn't appreciate being disturbed too many times. These GLS connectors are a snap! Quick and easy for a solid and sure connector!

I've using the GLS connectors in my project studio and for cables for shows for 5+ years. No problems to report. They seem to be pretty solid and they are inexpensive. I would recommend them others.

I have been using GLS cables and connectors for over 7 years and have not had any issues with the them. They have a tight positive fit and lock into place with a firm click. The o-ring on the female connector is a plus not seen on other connectors.

I cannot find a difference between these and some of better brand, they worked flawlessly and provide a perfect and tight fit. Pair with some canare quad cable and the results were impressive. Shipping was prompt and packing was excellent. no problems here.
