The GLS Audio Pancake 1/4" right-angle plugs use fibgerglass insulators which is much better than the black plastic insulators found on most other brands of plugs. They also have two separate solder tabs. One for each of the hot and ground wires. This makes them much easier to work with and solder to.

    Features:

    • World Famous GLS Audio Pancake Design
    • Highest Grade Fiberglass Insulator
    • Dual Tabs for Easy Soldering
    • Low Profile Pancake Design
    • High Quality at a Low Price!

    Size Specs:

    • Height: 34.20mm (1.346")
    • Width: 20.75mm (0.817")
    • Depth: 10.79mm (0.425") - When plug is inserted in jack.
    • Can use up to 7mm (0.275") size cable

    Soldering instructions:

    Reviewer: Daniel Becker (Woonsocket, RI)
I like these connectors. I have used them for a couple years. No problems. Makes fitting my pedals close easy. I like the insulator cover, I have had some without that. I have Neutriks that use the compression fitting grip, but they are just to bulky. Besides, if my cable is being handled such that the Neutrik connector broke, then someone is handling my cables too rough.

I frequently get bags of the straight and these right angle plugs to make my own cables for my guitar rig. Best quality and cost anywhere.

    Reviewer: Carlos Lopez (Berkley, CA)
The GLS pancake plugs have a negative tab which makes it a breeze to solder. The Switchcraft require you to solder the negative wire to the shell which is very difficult. I've made hundreds of cables with the GLS and they are great!

    Reviewer: Martin (Phoenix, AZ)
I bought these to wire up my new pedalboard I'm constructing. These are very solidly built, and the solder tab for the ground wire is an awesome addition. These can't be beat, especially at this price!
